The same attraction, tuned to the people standing in front of it.
Most shows play one way to everyone. Shift asks a better question on every dispatch: what is the best version of this moment for these guests, right now?
A scare that lands for teenagers frightens a five year old. A pre-show written for a quiet Tuesday wastes a Saturday queue. A soaking is a gift in August and a complaint in March. Every one of those is a decision somebody makes today with a rota and a guess.
Shift makes it on every cycle, from what the park already knows, and it makes it the same way your best show operator would, all day, without getting tired.
Signals arrive from systems you already run. The engine evaluates the moment and chooses from work your creative team wrote and approved, then drives the show through the equipment you already own: media servers, audio, lighting, effects, show control.
Decisions are made within the boundaries set by your team. They draw the envelope, and nothing outside it can ever be chosen, however the signals fall.
These three examples are an illustration of the principle, built to be understood in a minute. The production engine is patent pending, takes any signal and drives any device through plugins. The engine it grew from, a variation system built on the same intent, has been running daily at Alton Towers on Bluey the Ride.
Shift is our patent-pending system, and in real time it makes the decision about what the right experience is for the guests in front of it.
It runs completely offline, as hot backups, with full redundancy and graceful failover, and it is ready for deployment on the biggest experiences and rides. It talks directly to the show control interfaces you already have, and helps make the most intelligent decision available at that moment.
This is a small simulation of what Shift does. To see the real system working and understand what it could do for your attraction, get in touch for a full demo.
Choose a moment, set the signals, and press run. Watch the signals arrive, watch the options inside the envelope get tested, and read what the engine sent to each device and why. Then flip the signals panel to Automatic and watch the signals arrive on their own, the way they do in the park.
Shift is one of the ways we make an experience XOrdinary. Talk to us about your attraction.
