The senior team

Who's actually doing this?

A fair question, with this much technology on show. The answer is people who build attractions with their own hands. This is the senior team you would actually work with.

Our focus is simple and it never moves: guest experience above everything. We push innovation and creativity as far as they can go, we stay hands-on from first sketch to opening day, and we put everything we have into the end result. We spend a lot of our own time in theme parks, and it shows in the work.

Mark Rivkin

Mark Rivkin

Managing Director · Creative and Technical Director

Mark sets the overall creative and technical direction of XOrdinary, pulling together the disciplines that turn an ambitious idea into a finished experience. A graphic designer and 3D artist with a background in electrical engineering, he works directly in lighting, projection and audio design, with a particular passion for spatial audio.

He stays hands-on throughout project development, moving between creative direction, problem-solving and code. Mark also leads the innovation work that produces new products such as XOrdinary Shift.

Out of hours: theme park addict and DJ.

Lorna Jones

Lorna Jones

Director · Creative Director

Lorna leads the creative team, guiding the visual development of concepts, graphic design and 3D content across the studio. With a background in art, she works closely with clients and project teams to give each experience a clear visual identity and a character of its own.

She combines creative judgement with a practical understanding of technology, ensuring the team's work is imaginative, clearly communicated and possible to build. As a Director, her remit also includes client relationships, new opportunities and the continued development of the studio.

Mihai Coman

George England

George England

Senior Art Designer

George keeps an eye on where visual culture is moving and brings it back into the studio, so the worlds we build feel current to the guest standing inside them. He pushes new artistic ideas into a project early, while there is still time for them to change its shape.

And the desk they work at

Have a rummage.

One of our designers' desks, rebuilt so you can go through it. Draw on the tablet, read the notes they left themselves, turn the drawings over, press the big red button. The artwork is theirs. The mess is entirely ours.
