Times Square on New Year’s Eve, any day of the year. A permanent 12K immersive environment at Madame Tussauds New York, combining dome projection, bespoke 360° surround sound, lighting, and physical effects to recreate the energy of the world’s most famous countdown. Built to run daily, and still feel electric.
Scale & Artistry
We wanted the space to feel like a celebration the second you step in. Big visuals, a clear sense of place, and a pace that builds like a live countdown. The content balances nostalgia and now, so it feels instantly familiar but still surprising, with each beat designed to land immediately and keep impact in a busy visitor environment.
Innovation & Technology
We produced a 10-minute 360° projection experience rendered at ultra-high 12K, wrapping the room in movement, colour, and New Year’s Eve energy. In our in-house sound studio, we created a bespoke surround music mashup and soundscape, splicing and remixing iconic tracks into a new audio identity for the room. The result is emotionally dynamic and uplifting, designed to draw guests deeper into the experience. We also added an interactive poster moment, allowing guests to capture a photo of themselves inside the experience and take it with them.

Reliability
This is an all-day environment, so reliability is part of the design. Alongside robust show control and repeatable calibration, we use custom remote monitoring software to track system and hardware health, spot issues early, and keep the room running consistently over time.
